Job Description

We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic Food Attendants/Waitresses to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that their dining experience is enjoyable and reflective of the high standards of Te Pā Tū. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of customer service.

Desired Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables, maintaining a clean and tidy dining area.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Be knowledgeable about the menu, including dietary options, and provide information to guests as needed.
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests with care and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Strong desire to be apart of a Kaupapa Maori Organisation
  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all aspects of service.
